Is Tyson Fury the biggest fraud in boxing?

Completely predictable.
I agree, totally predictable. Predicted in September last year.
It also makes a further mockery out of the Chisora fight. Where plenty of people tried to make the argument to defend it by saying it was a tune up fight for Usyk. It was only 8 months after his last fight. He didn't need a tune up fight. He was out the ring for longer before he fought Wilder.

I like Fury but he's proven himself to be an absolute clown. I wonder whether some of old demons are presenting themselves again, and if so hopefully he sorts himself out. However, he needs to vacate the belts.

It also brings into focus just how ridiculous his demands for AJ were, 10 days and all that.

I wonder if Dubois will take the fight... He will get totally embarressed by Usyk.
Then Joyce may get his chance back end of the year.

If Fury were to vacate, it is likely Wilder would be fighting Ruiz for the vacant WBO belt.
There could then be potential for an undisputed fight next year if Usyk manages to keep all his belts this year.

Big shame it isn't going to happen. But looking to the positives I won't have to find a Ukrainian bar in Dusseldorf to watch it.

These things never seem to come off nowadays which is sad. It would have been a good spectacle and the subsequent rematches would have been great also.

Will have to get into WWE now if i wanna see Fury fight again :)

I'm actually in Krakow for the weekend of the 29th. Would have been a great place to watch the fight as would Dusseldorf.

There's some big fights happening down the weight divisions this year. The Garcia/Tank fight is due shortly but again contract not finalised. I think this one will happen though.

The big one that hasn't happened that should is Crawford/Spence. Similarly to this fight, I don't think we'll ever see it.

please let this mean him, his daft coke head dad and his brother (who has a 'legacy' of his own now of narrowly avoiding defeat to a bloke off you tube) will now all b***r off for a few month so we don't hear from them for a bit.

You don’t though, regardless of what happens with Fury vs Usyk which isn’t what I was referring to with that post. Your level of knowledge about Boxing and how it works is embarrassing for someone who talks so much.

Discussing boxing in this thread?

For the record BG seems to post some reasoned opinions, as do you. Just because you disagree doesn't mean you need to write each other off.

Keep posting because i enjoy reading both your views.

Oh yeah, I stopped seriously posting about boxing on here years ago, I'll dip in every now and then for a laugh but for the most part I can't be bothered.

I don't even follow the sport that closely anymore to be honest, got bored of all the tripe surrounding it. I used to be a regular poster on some of the boxing forums but even they got infested with the nonsense in the end and it put me off the sport.
