LUTON PRIORITY POINTS

Absolutely.

There’s no need to have these anymore now with the points system, either scrap them completely or open them up to everyone
No. These are people that go to every game season after season after season. The ticket office know them all. Most of us know each other. We are there at Cardiff, Bristol City and Swansea and were last year and the year before. You just want a ticket for Sunderland and Huddersfield. And don't want to put in the hard miles.

You'd still be able to put in the hard miles without an inbuilt advantage not available to anybody new.

Elements like trust and the human touch come in to it.

You're being incredibly defensive Rob, and you couldn't be more wrong as I got tickets to Sunderland and Huddersfield. I was also at QPR, Hull, Blackburn, Cardiff, etc, and I will very likely have enough points for Luton. So this isn't about me being alright and screw everyone else (as is many people's mentality on this issue) because I'm alright as it is.

I just happen to think there shouldn't be any element of the ticket process that is a closed shop, how exactly do you lose out if the away season ticket system is scrapped when if you go to every away game you will have maximum points and be top of the list regardless?

Why isn't the away season ticket available to anyone who wants one then ? The club don't trust them ?
They were available, only so many took them up on the offer. It was then discontinued but available to those who still had one. I don’t get why people are complaining about it.

When were they discontinued?

They were introduced in 2008, 15 years ago.

I can't find a date for their discontinuation.

I couldn’t tell you, I remember them being available but the uptake was tiny and the club took them off the shelf.

So I presume they were taken off a long time ago, in our darkest Strachan years when attendance was dwindling home and away.

They should be opened back up or scrapped. I know people who have them. I know people who sometimes don’t go or occasionally let others use the ticket.
It’s ideal not having to even log on to buy a ticket.
I say this with over 240 points.
They should be available or not available really

But why should those who initially purchased them and continue to do so miss out because a few people don’t like it? Should we remove the gold status? The chairman’s drink?

We shouldn't remove them, but we should open them up to others.

You gained a gold card status purely because you had a season ticket from the opening of the Riverside.

So basically in 1996/97 season you were a Gold Card holder because you had a season ticket for 1 season....yet there's season card holders who've had a season ticket for 25 years consecutively who still aren't regarded as a gold card holder.

That in itself is just ridiculous.

No. I think they should keep them. Fair play to anybody who has one.
I just think they should still be available
