What do you order in an Indian restaurant?

My favourite was always South Indian garlic chilli chicken from Jamals, but only when I don't have to go to work the next day because you need a dozen trips to the pot and the bog roll in the freezer.
Always curse myself but could never resist it again.
Damn that pesky capsaicin that always sends us back for more spice!

I'm in Cheltenham mate so just interested to know which one it was (y)
Just off the M5 junction 13. It's top class mate. Not sure if they'll deliver, but definitely worth a visit when things open back up. The other really good one is Aroma in Gloucester.

Nice one, when the world is back to normal will give it a go
Slightly different to the standard Indian, but have you been to Prithvi? We always meant to go when we lived there but never got round to it. I miss Cheltenham, if I was ever to live in a large town again, it would definitely be there. Weekend mornings in a random cafe followed by a jaunt out to the Slaughters or somewhere similar were great.

I've still not been to Prithvi, its's on the list but never got round to going.

Whereabouts did you live in Cheltenham when you were here?

I think it would be an interesting experience.

In Charlton Kings, easy for a walk into town, and great for walking straight into the Cotswolds. We used to walk to Winchcombe occasionally have a couple of pints and then get the bus back which was nice. I'm hoping we can persuade the inlaws to move that way at some point, so we can return.

Where are you?

We are classed as Springbank, we bought a new build just off village road.

We rented in Pittville before that tho which was brilliant for popping into town for food and drinks.

Lamb with Nagga Chilli which is fairly hot but actually really tasty. Normally been to Goa for a month this time of year and am thoroughly depressed being home in the cold and the rain. Over there there are so many different sauces, nothing like in the U.K.

In honour of this thread I have made an order from a local woman who cooks Indian/Pakistani dishes. Not a restaurant, you just pick them up from her house the following day. She only offers three main courses so we've gone for a butter chicken and a palak paneer (spinach and cheese). I will report back with the verdict.

I might try convince Vicky into an Indian. She cooked a chicken dinner last night so it could be takeaway city tonight
