Burnley - the case of a well run club

Easier said than done though.

Shows just what an incredible job Dyche has done. Don't like the bloke but not many managers will have been able to do what he's done.

Also some credit to their chairman/board for sticking with him and not following the norm and pulling the trigger during their relegation season.

Match day revenue and commercial money - total of around £23 million . Wages account for 63% of turnover. That is how to run a club.
Mind new owners borrowings to buy the club could change this....
Nosmo-king, for me one the best run clubs in the PL when you take in to account the structure, the finance coming in, season after season they not only stay in the PL but stay in the PL comfortably & long may it continue, a club we should model ourselves on

Thing is, the new owners coming in could wrongly change the future of the club by going for a bigger named manager than Dyche, Dyche & Burnley are a perfect fit

Excellent manager for me, a good win tonight could push them upto 12th

Defo agree on a Fulham win hopefully- says everything about Burnley that their 'legend' in the studio is Chris Iwelumo, an absolute donkey.

Wothout wishing to start the whole Burnley and Dyche thing again, surely they should, by now, be aiming for more than just purely surviving in the PL.

A couple of years ago they finished high enough to qualify for Europe and although they didn't really enjoy it, shouldn't they be looking at that again amd even dare I say be looking at a cup run and perhaps be looking to win something?

Yes with the ambition they show at the moment they are a well run club, but for me they are slightly under achieving.

Couldn't agree more, I said at the time he should have played his best team to progress in the FAC & if I were a Burnley fan I'd have been disappointed
He has proved without doubt how good he is, he need to move to the next level & chase a trophy, if they fail then so be it

@ Festa5 So you judge a football manager on their personality and not their results

You're line of work isn't recruitment - right?

He said he didn't like him, not that he hadn't done a good job.

I'd say someones personality is a pretty big factor for deciding whether you like them.
I can't stand Sean Dyche, and that's because he comes across as a knob to me and I hate his voice.
I still recognise he's done an okay job as a manager.

Erimus, the new owners have borrowed a lot of money to purchase the club, I believe they had quite a few Bob in the bank when bought. It could go pear shaped under new owners- if so, years of prudent work goes up in smoke.
