Consumers have the right to be heard, it is in the interest of the companies to understand why they are loosing custom. You can't complain about cancel culture while cancelling consumer rights That's how capitalism works. Most companies understand the concept of the triple bottom line and some of these companies will probably be having internal investigations into who sanctioned the advertising.Agree it is but bombarding the advertisers on social media in the fashion they have is not the way I would do it.
What is clear so far are two things a) the utter bias, when you have a presenter and 3 people on a couch all pulling the same line then it isn't a debate show, it's political propaganda. There really hasn't been any juxtaposition of views. b) the claim to be a news channel, news deals in facts, facts are so thin on the ground and selected exclusively to back up the particular argument in a subjective manner, that again it isn't 'news' it's propaganda.and they have not done been able to do that sufficiently so far.
The result of those two points is that the channel creates deeper division, deeper hatred, and lower levels of understanding of issues. The claim that it's giving a voice to those without one is ludicrous as all other 'proper' news channels, have had these presenters on as guests giving these opinions, there's nothing new being presented, the only 'new' angle is that it's being presented unchallenged, and that's what this channel has already proven itself to be about. The presentation of right wing, unchallenged and packaged as fact/reality. ..that's propaganda.
