Maybe I'm looking too hard
Good. Number 10 should be retired out of respect anyway. No one will ever be as good as Juninho was. Akpom really is terrible though. He had about 5 decent chances and some how didnt threaten. Hes almost created a technique turning an obvious goal scoring chance into something totally non threatening
I dont. Milan did it with Maldini although i think it can be used but only by his son. Man City did it for M V-F. Good gesture. But on Akpom. Ffs that was a desperate signingI don’t believe in retiring shirts. Think it’s stupid, there is other ways to remember your legends. 10 is a player a lot of footballers love they would be disappointed if they didn’t have the option to wear it upon signing for the club. I hope we are rid of Akpom soon so someone else can pick up the no 10.
Maldini played 900+ games for them, fair enough I suppose.I dont. Milan did it with Maldini although i think it can be used but only by his son. Man City did it for M V-F. Good gesture. But on Akpom. Ffs that was a desperate signing
Juninho played for Middlesbrough. Obvious but different class of player compared to the club he spent three spells with. Plus Milan were in Serie B when Maldini started i think. He grafted didnt just get by on his dads nameMaldini played 900+ games for them, fair enough I suppose.
Was also 23 in 2nd spell hereJuninho will always be number 25 to me.
