Come on Lewis

Horner was waffling wasn't he, looked a bit shell shocked.

Trying to talk up how amazing Max was to be out pacing Hamilton in the part of the track that favoured a good driver 'anyone can go fast down the straights', when he was on softer compound tyres and Hamilton was catching him at most times anyway was ridiculous.

They are an awful team, their main driver, evil Bond villain looking head of driver development and team principle all lack class, complain bitterly and repeatedly about everything and release unfounded and uncalled for things about Mercedes and in particular Hamilton to the media continually, with impunity it seems.

It is horrible to watch and listen to.

Not exactly, but they did 'throw the book' at Schumacher pretty much. But I don't think anyone involved in the running of the sport has the appetite for that sort of punishment in the social media age.
They threw the book at him in 97 after he got away with blatant cheating in 94 when he wiped Hill out after Schumacher had broken his own car and was now due to lose the title. It was probably the most blatant cheating in sport in the last 35 years (Maradonna handball) maybe even longer.

I'd say it is worse than the Maradonna handball which did not endanger his opponent.

The penalty of 10 seconds is meaningless they should have deducted a point so that would have taken away his option to crash and win.

As it is were he to do that the win from the farce at Spa will hand him the WDC

True, maybe comparable with Harold Schumacher on Batiston in 82 ?!

Ironically the third sector which according to Horner is all engine reliant and not driver skill, was the sector where his driver put it in the wall in qualifying

It is only a little thing but it bugged me post Qually that they kept referring to it as a great 'lap'...............

The pressure has definitely got to RedBull and Max in particular. All of their whining and complaining, accusations of illegal wings, trying to get other drivers banned etc. hasn't gained them an advantage and now it is a straight fight in the last race, after having the better car and an equally good engine with better reliability all season but having no advantage, nerves are fraying.

I'm really pleased it looks likely they'll miss out on the constructors barring some sort of disaster for Mercedes in Abu Dhabi too.

Well, that race was a shambles. Dangerous looking track, dodgy driving. Weird Del Boy bartering by the stewards over penalties.

Next week I assume that we will have a Senna / Prost type accident, giving Verstappen the WDC.

Sectors 2 and 3 are easy anyone can drive it

*presenter shows video of max crash in sector 3*

‘this you?’

The fact a lot of people and media are heavily suggesting that Max will take them both out - tells us all we need to know

He's bloody dangerous and should be no where near a F1 car

The same was said about Senna and Schumacher but they both lit up F1 in the same way that Max is too. The most dangerous thing in F1 in recent years was the Romain Grosjean crash, the skirmishes between Lewis and Max are just hard driving which F1 fans have been wanting for years.

Would you rather go back to the sterile times not so long ago with a Mercedes 1-2 in most races and just a procession to the line?

That’s exactly what they want.
No it isn't, 'we' want racing with the rules applied fairly and consistently.

I just can't fathom your bizarrely blinkered, one sided view of any F1 issue involving Mercedes and/or Hamilton.

It is mental and your opinion loses almost any credibility because of it.

Max 'cheated' four times in the last race to try and disadvantage a competitor, he was ordered by his own team to hand positions back twice (strategically to disadvantage the competitor as much as possible) and received two time penalties from the stewards.

But to call this out means you want a procession with a Mercedes 1-2?

If the two Mercedes are the fastest/luckiest cars over race distance and end up 1-2 driving within the technical and sporting regulations, then yes. That is what I want.

For all teams / drivers.

No you don’t you
want him Banned
he should be nowhere near an f1 car etc

So that Lewis can win yet another title making it 100% record for Mercedes in the hybrid era

YOU don’t want racing you want a procession.

If I was max I’d leave f1 now and go to Indy car.
