TalkSport? It’s dominated everyday by the big 5 clubs especially London ones. It’s fronted in the main by some ex Spurs players. No surprise there. I don’t listen to it.

I think it is generally the love of failure in Britain and media rather than a bias specifically. Our success was their failure as a big club. Locally we enjoy the success, nationally they enjoy the failure.

If Spurs had won last night they wouldn’t have mentioned our failure for one second just the success of Conte. Whilst I understand your point it’s not so much fixation with bad news it’s fixation on a limited number of big clubs - which is understanable for a commercial radio station. Most of their listeners are white males aged 18-60 living in the Home Counties.

Same on BBC commentary last night, especially first half....Danny Murphy purring over every little flick from Kane and saying how they were in control, then second half when we dominated he started to give our players credit, but still qualified with Spurs being 'leggy' and Conte being 'too cautious'. At least with Woodgate in the studio there was a bit more balance there and Shearer also seems a fan of Wilder, perhaps golfing at Rockcliffe!

To be fair TalkSport had Neil Taylor on just before 10 giving a good interview on last night, but yes I would always expect it to be 'why did they lose' instead of 'how good were Boro?'.

Even at half time all they discussed was the way SPUDS had been playing all season and how it had got to this.

Got that throughout the majority of the 1st hour with the 2 commentators last night

Theres a gulf between both teams but once Boro got into them it was chalk & cheese & Spurs couldnt cope
The obvious gap in class and talent only shone through after we got to grips with Spurs spoiling tactics :)
