Do many other posters ‘ignore’ people on here?

None for me.

There's a few posters with whom I disagree strongly on some points about Boro and football, but they talk sense on other issues, and it's always good to have your own opinion challenged.

Only once or twice have I felt personally attacked, but I'm big and ugly enough to take that. It usually means Ive won the debate anyway.

Got 35 people on ignore, which seems a lot but most are older accounts that I suspect don't post anymore, those that are still about, barring one or two, it's for non-footballing posts that I couldn't be bothered reading anymore.

If I was going to put every poster who I've ever disagreed with on ignore then it would be just be me and about half a dozen people talking to each other.

I had 16 on mine and in light of the comments from others I’ve now unignored them all so let’s see how this goes.

I was thinking of going all in and ignoring literally everyone then creating several identities so that I could talk amongst myselves and like my own posts.

Never used the ignore button and I don't like to see people banned either, although if I was admin and had to deal with the hassle some generate I'm sure that would change.

It will remain only a theory, there are 3 of us and I'm schizophrenic.
I've been accused of being so many different posters on here. There's definitely only one of me. Somebody on the old board accused me of being Proudfoot once just because we both liked Korean cinema.

I like North Korean cinema, but my alter ego likes South Korean films. Tosser.

I've got a small handful. The vast majority are posters who I'm sure are absolutely fine in real life but who for various reasons on multiple occasions have tempted me to post a response I'd probably regret.

Bearing in mind no-one knows what anyone else is going through, I'd rather just remove the temptation to write something confrontational that might affect them more I'd ever know. There were at least a couple during covid lockdowns who I just decided I'd better stop reading for my own and possibly their mental well-being.
