Any Conservative voters left?

I don’t think I would. I might have to vote Lib Dem as I’ve just moved to an area with a Lib Dem mp

I know it looks bleak for them right now, and I mean proper bleak, but what do people actually think will happen at the next GE? Obviously the polls yesterday were startling, but I don’t think anybody really expects Labour to win over 350 seats. Or do they?

I have no doubt that Labour will form the next government, and it will be brilliant to see them lot finally kicked out, but I am just curious as to what people actually think will happen.

There is not a chance at all that Labour will win near 500 seats at the next election. I think we can all agree that. Discussions, even on this left leaning form, have shown there are a surpassingly large hardware of Tory voters who believe in the cult regardless of everything, Hopefully enough people aren't tat stupid though.

The thing with FPTP is anything is possible, there could be 20% of hardcore tories, but so dispersed that they only get 10% of the total seats. Or those 20% could be so concentrated that they still only get 10% of the seats, or something in between where that 20% leads to 35% of the seats. Disbursement patterns, current boundaries, redrawing of boundary lines etc can all have a huge effect.

The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if the Tories try to re-introduce a property or income qualification for the franchise. They are now not a democratic party but a neo-lib pound shop Trump cult.

Did you watch QT last night… there’s still those who’ll double down with their fingers in their ears but there’s a hell of a lot who are just to scared to put their hands up… usually the ones that spin the “no credible alternative…” line…

I Didnt watch QT last night...I used to watch it regularly years ago but I'd rather sit in the loft with toothache now....

Labour Overall victory is 2.46 (about 7/5 against) on Betfair - easy money if people on here are correct.

Fill yer boots?

Lot of shy Tories out there, won't readily admit to it as their prime focus for voting for them is self advancement/ preservation and f*ck everyone else. They are out there..........
Not sure anymore, battle grounds have hardened so much, so much polarising that I don't believe that there are so many shy anythings anymore.

The Tories will get votes, the important thing is that they don't get back in.
There are, as said, plenty of shy Tories terrified of anyone they deem unworthy getting a helping hand.

If the polls are correct QT might struggle to assemble its usual 'balanced' audience

Thats a very nice way of putting it. I fancy I will use that in a meeting very soon and take all of the credit. 😁
