to fund tax cuts.

Incredible to think that people who live in an area that relies heavily on public services elected this man.

I feel like I’m living in some kind of surreal horror show.

The so called “levelling up Secretary” who represents a constituency on Teesside supporting cuts in services (and the removal of bonuses caps for investment bankers) in order to pay for tax cuts that benefit rich people. He is literally putting two fingers up to the people he represents.

These people are utterly decoupled from reality.

What a way to describe a country where you cannot get a GP or a dentist appointment, your hospital appointment is months away, the roads are like the moon, energy is unnafordable, rent is off the scale, homeownership is dropping like a stone, oh and don't bother with the police, the council is just about ticking over. Can't get a train or a bus, if you lose your job you're screwed because social security is already below poverty level and millions of people rely on donated food to get by.

It's well beyond the point where these creeps were put out to grass, hopefully for a long time.

Yes and two fingers up to the “job” he has been assigned to do.

Ah Simon Simon Simon… whilst I think we can all agree that the welfare state is bloated for a number of reasons… I really don’t think you are the man to call it out and demand we look for savings for tax cuts when your last round of tax cuts very nearly crashed the economy.

Btw how is the wife?

Who the **** would marry to that

Perhaps he and his government might like to do something about the fact that we all have been funding big business via benefits for all of their time in government because they have built and economy with a large reliance on low wages!

The way it's going I don't think a simple, democratic, vote out of office will be what does for them.. I do fear they are kicking the hornets nest so brutally that some people may just be driven to vengeful actions..
