Govt to ban strikes

Or make it very difficult for ordinary people to strike.
Why don’t the unions get together and create a co-ordinated strike by all parties and force the govt to do something different or even topple them forcing a general election.

The govt are goading for a fight but the ‘people’ will always win if they figure out the best way to approach a hard right kabal of a government

Coordination is surely their most powerful tool ?

How do people ban governments from corruption?

Hypothetical diversion of a question.
Absolutely!

Let’s stay with the main issue….Tories squeezing ordinary people out there, people responsible for helping us when we are sick….
Don’t people see what the Tories want ?
They are trying to drive a wedge between people who are all the same, need the nhs, need public services, need a decent pay award…
If us ordinary people have any character whatsoever we would coordinate against them and force a general election.

Labour Government next year is only 'hypothetical'?

Will Labour commit to repealing this in full?

Will they even oppose it as it goes through parliament? 👀 Wouldn't be so surprised to see another Starmer 3 line whip abstention special.

"We might be able to make changes to the bill at the committee stage!"🤦‍♂️:ROFLMAO:

Phew! If Starmer's pledged it, then we can all relax. Safe as houses.
So, no so Superstu
You’d rather focus on Starmer than coordinate around a thoroughly deceitful set of people ( I refuse to call them a government) who KNOW THAT THEIR ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE is to divide people against each other creating a myth that they are somehow wrong or different.

We will all need the nhs at some point and we should expect elected leaders to staff it correctly and fund it sufficiently and that has been severely neglected since austerity 2010 and now we and our extended families are literally paying the price with our lives for ‘political’ choices made by eton boys and girls

We need to stick together!!!!

So we don't strike.

Instead, take a day off your public sector job in the exact same way your MP does. Maybe gather outside your local hospital to take part in a reality TV show for nurses, or outside your local train station to discuss an offshore hedge fund with rail workers.

The best tool the unions have to counter this legislation (if its ever passed) would be an overtime ban. For someone that works on the railway I know it would virtually grind the railway to a halt.

I really worry where we are heading in this country though, is is the type of law that would be introduced by a radical authoritarian regime and the majority of the population won't bat an eyelid over it. Infact we'll have a number of people celebrating it because the press will spin this as a positive.

I didn't see much sticking together when Corbyn was leading the party. Quite the opposite in fact. And now those same people expect me to get behind Starmer. That isn't going to happen.
