Govt to ban strikes

We will all need the nhs at some point and we should expect elected leaders to staff it correctly and fund it sufficiently and that has been severely neglected since austerity 2010 and now we and our extended families are literally paying the price with our lives for ‘political’ choices made by eton boys and girls

Totally agree with you EFL. (y)

We need to stick together!!!!

Sadly I don't think there's much to stick together about now. We've lost. 🤷‍♂️ Sorry! I know it's depressing. Hence the gallows humour about Sir Keir.

Bumface
You get behind Sunak bro….
You’ll be in the minority 20% 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Labour is heading for a landslide buddy. Get it into your hard right nazi head
If I ever did get behind Sunak I shudder to think what I might do. I know exactly what I'd want to do if I ever got behind Zarah Sultana though. She should be leading the party, not a w@nker like Starmer. I'm the hard left, mate, according to most on here. This place is 'centrist' central. It's ridiculous, as Nobby would say.

Who's called you hard left?

Absolutely!

Let’s stay with the main issue….Tories squeezing ordinary people out there, people responsible for helping us when we are sick….
Don’t people see what the Tories want ?
They are trying to drive a wedge between people who are all the same, need the nhs, need public services, need a decent pay award…
If us ordinary people have any character whatsoever we would coordinate against them and force a general election.
Trying to drive a wedge?
They've being successfully doing that for the last 40 odd years. Dividing the working class is their greatest achievement. it started with the Right to Buy scheme, as it's been proved that home owners are more likely to become right wing.

Can hard left politics work in running a country like ours?

well that's made the 'I can't vote for Starmer' brigade look like idiots on here.

The idea that a government will repeal the right to withdraw labour without the threat of being sacked, is terrible. What next, are they going to reintroduce the concept of the 'poor house' as a form of cheap labour?

People need to wake up, the 'ruling classes' have had your pants down for a while, now they're lubing you up, pull your pants up and fight.

not really that relevant, the key point is, can the people stop squabbling and unite against the imposition of hard right politics. those who want far left need to accept the perfect is the enemy of good and get behind every means to get the tories out.

No, they can't as a lot of the electorate are - sorry - thick as sh*t.
The hope is there are enough people out there to stop squabbling and get behind a progressive government that represents the people ......but the country has been fractured into so many factions this is going to be tough

Banning protests, banning strikes, dividing the people and playing the blame game on various sections of society, and the business with proposed treatment of immigrants who are proposed to be sent to camps in other countries. All sounds very similar to a European regime which caused a lot of problems for the rest of the world in the late 1930s and 40s.
