Is Tyson Fury the biggest fraud in boxing?

Fury changed his tune since the Fury v Joshua debacle. Apparently it's up to the lawyers and promoters to make the fight not the fighters. I seem to recall Joshua making a similar statement and getting ridiculed by Fury. 6 weeks of negotiations and the purse split still not agreed.

He doesn't fill you with confidence that this fight is going to happen any time soon.

I really can't see it happening but I hope I'm wrong.

Looks less and less likely by the day. Surely if it was happening end of Feb / beginning of March they would have a venue sorted by now.

The main issue is that they can't move it back to the UK because Fury won't agree to 50/50 split. Joke.

If they don't agree it now, the undisputed fight will be dead. Usyk will be tied up with mandatories or have to vacate to fight Fury.

Same old Tyson Fury

Having read the article it looks like it's agreed apart from the venue and they are optimistic it will go ahead. Not sure where all the doom and gloom is coming from!

There's more information on top of this reported earlier last week.
They haven't received acceptable purse bids from the Middle East. The way it works in Saudi / UAE etc is that a private purse is agreed with each fighter. So each fighter has a seperate contract.

The option of hosting at Wembley can't happen because Fury won't agree a 50/50 split. Both Arum and Warren have confirmed that. So the fight could be agreed if Fury would split the purse. Usyk has 3 belts.... Fury wants 70/30 split.

If you watched the interview live on Saturday, Fury didn't fill you with confidence that it would happen with his responses.

Can someone tell me firstly how many super heavyweights Usyk has knocked out ? Also I recognise his skill, but I have not seen him hit by a super heavyweight yet. Fury will test his chin for sure.

Th

We've heard it all before from him.

And every fighter.

Let's see if the fight is made first before we castigate Fury. I am a big fan of his but won't be pleased if the fight doesn't go ahead unless there is a very big reason for it.

The whole of boxing is a fraud. It isn't a sport. There is no interest in determining in who is best, no proper organisation. The fact everything is headed through promotion companies shows what it is. It is an entertainment business not much different than wrestling except instead of fixing the fight they just put them in matches they know they are going to win then create a load of drama and hype to sell PPVs. It's just about (promoters) making money.
further fixing is done through the judges, none who are ever ex boxers who would be best suited to do it

I really hope the fight happens. I'm a massive fan of his ability in the ring, I was a massive fan of him all round 12 months ago. I am just sick of the contradictions, lies and disrespect now.

If this fight doesn't happen, Fury will have nowhere to hide.

Personally, I think AJ’s a bigger fraud. They knew he wasn’t good enough to face Fury so they avoided him at all costs.
