He’s be my first signing of the summer. He’s clearly fitting in with the way we play and has quality. Still feel like there’s a few more gears to come from him too.

I can’t answer the question, but I do know that FFP headroom only matters if you feel the owner should be putting in money to allow the maximum allowable losses.

If we keep our best players and add 2-3 quality signings, I’d have to say automatics should be the aim.

Got to say I disagree with the OP, they do tend to even themselves out. And for that reason, I think it was better without VAR.

He’s still reasonably young, there’s no reason he couldn’t get his head down and become a consistent championship player. I think he has a lot to offer and he’s struggled to get into his stride enough. It feels like a move could be mutually beneficial but I’d had no issue with him staying

I think most of the existing squad is good enough to play a part next season, just maybe not a core part of it. Certainly the three you’ve mentioned, plus glover, Tommy smith, Barlaser and Silvera.

I loved Matt crooks, but I do think Azaz is an upgrade.
