It amazes me how nonchalant and flippant posters on here are. 'Oh yeah, we'll be going into a lockdown'. 'Football will be shut down' etc etc. Talking like this has a huge effect on the mental health of posters and it's talked about as if it's no big deal, almost welcomed. I find it...
Which is ironic because the initial post was about a younger lad wanting to know about the 75 season. But yeah, you're right. My grand dad never got over the 50/51 season when we were top of the league with 8 leagues to play and didn't win another game! So I guess it's the same.
Just wanted...
Exactly! Strange that our own fans seem to take pleasure in knocking the fact that 74-75 was an incredible season. It's far and away the best season I've known in all my years of following Boro.
I knew someone would come on and rubbish this thread. Thanks for that rifle. As people pointed out, we were challenging for the title and fell away at the end. Which is exactly what happened if you were actually there.
And since we did 7th become mid table?!
Yep, thought I'd see you come up with a hilarious response. Hugely impressive too your range of emojis. You may have hoodwinked a couple of posters with your 'humorous' antics but we all saw how treated Coluka and you should be ashamed of yourself. I await your riveting notebook instalment...
People don't like The Beatles?! I think it's just some people who like to try and be clever and edgy. Ridiculous to say they are anything other than life changing.
Over rated?! Dear me.
Every time I happen on an advert (doesn't happen a lot coz I tape everything) I also see Rylan Soddin Clark. When did he become the face of advertising on UK tv?!
Can't stand The Libertines. And that singer's about as edgy as Mary Whitehouse. One of the only bands I have to turn off if they ever come on the radio.
Also, I tried but just couldn't get into The Ramones.
Yeah, I loved 'Teardrop Explodes' and thought they were pretty big back in the day but if I mention them I always get a blank look. 'Treason' is one of my favourite songs of all time.
