Surely every band on this page is a natural entrant into "Best band name ever" competition.

I went to see perennial faves Electric Eel Shock tonight and this band supported them. Very good they were too.

Received my new walking stick this afternoon so went out for a stroll. This came on on iTunes. One of my favourite songs and arrangements ever. Took me straight back to teaching windsurfing in the South of France, before I ever imagined I'd need a walking stick.

    Nick Cave Tickets

This is possibly the first tour I've missed since "The Firstborn is Dead". I'll have to listen to the album to decide what it's worth to see live.

I went to see this fella last night. He was a lot better live than his albums suggest.

I visited for an afternoon, but liked it so much I stayed two days. Extremely friendly and very funny locals. That was twenty years ago though.

Great stuff. Good to see them choreographing the camera.

I saw her do this live in Shepherds Bush a couple of years ago. It stunned the venue into a tangible silence. It was very good when she released it but the patina the years added made it even more spartanly beautiful.

I went to see the stage version of "Stranger Things" this afternoon. It's set in the 50's so can't sneak in a Kate Bush tune. Personally I really missed this

    Glastonbury 2024

Otoboke Beaver and Sugar Babes playing the same festival is enough to make me positive about it. Though admittedly not positive enough to actually go.
