Do we have to keep warnock next year?

This season was always about consolidation for me. Top 10 will be fine, and we will achieve that.

But otherwise, do we really wanna be changing manager again? Another one in this summer would be 7 in little over 4 years.

He will obviously be judged by next season. And yes, needs some backing. The guys we brought in in January have been disappointing but I'm not going to judge him on that, this season has been bonkers by most measures (football in general) and that has/had an impact on what clubs can do.
 
I dont agree. Hes a great football man, but an excellent manager? No, not for me. We all know a massive rebuild is needed and if hes only here for one more season whats the point? Weve consolidated this year, great. What we all expected if not what we hoped for but I expect us to struggle bottom half of the table next year with Warnock in charge. Id rather give someone else a chance to lead the club in a different direction
 
Must say I’m disappointed with the second half of the season and Warnock has played his part with poor team selections, signings and his overall body language has been shocking. He is going to be here next season so there is no point me being overly critical but we need to get off to a good start next season and he needs to sign some half decent players. No one is untouchable.
 
Think we are certainly right to question him, this is essentially his squad since January and we have seen some absolutely shocking performances which can be blamed on the manager. Some of his signings have been very questionable too.
I dont really see the benefit of making another managerial change though, especially if we arent going to have the money to make big changes in the summer, still dont think were miles away from the top 6, solid keeper, winger and a striker plus a bit of depth should be enough
 
I think people need to remind themselves what their expectations were at the start of the season. If you expected to come 8/9th but play fantastic football and never feel disappointed or see a few terrible runs of results then that was never realistic.

I said top 10, I knew large parts of the season would be crap but that overall it would be much better than last.

I think we need to finish this season well first of all and go from there.

You are right that the second half of the season has not been good enough.

Better players needed, no doubt about that.

We’re miles away from the top six. We’re a three man club. Without Tav, Fry and McNair we would be relegation fodder. With no money to spend and so many out of contract next year would be a success to be top Half. Why give Warnock any money? Time to move on because hes moving on anyway. Whomever comes next would have the same job to do as they would if they came in now

He is leaving players out that could make a difference
Johnson for one
He bought Akpom so he is at fault there
Our squad is better than Barnsley who struggled to stay up last season - their manager has done far better
Warnock needs to go

I’m on a low having seen the state of Barnsley that we could not get the ball on the floor and play some football.

I expect better from a Boro side.

Can’t see us winning another game even with the games remaining. Majority of the players have chucked it. Play the kids and we might have a chance of a decent season end as they will have something to prove

I agree that a number of the players are on the beach (subject to lockdown restrictions being lifted), I’d be happy to see the kids myself.
 
Clear that lots of people are feeling low after a poor performance. It doesn’t define the season though. Which has overall been “meh” but an improvement on the nightmare of last year.
