Statement of affairs

So some serious money owed and this shows just how bad Mel Morris was running the club but....

"Other groups owed cash include Derby City and Erewash Borough Council, St John's Ambulance, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Middlesbrough FC and the Football League"

What do they owe us money for?

Either they are expecting to have to compensate us for Gibbos claim or they may owe us money for allowing roberts to terminate his loan and join them in Jan.

Looking at the statement, they owe us £566.46p 😂😂😂.

Also the EFL £4800 that I'm sure the fans will begrudge.

Looks like circa £65m to creditors.

On the plus side for them, Mega wealthy Man City owe them.........£10 😂😂😂

45 million if Steve Gibson gets his way…

“Steve Gibson, owner and chairman of Middlesbrough, is making a claim for around £45m, which is yet to be addressed.

He feels Derby’s financial irregularities helped deny Boro a play-off place in the 20018/19 season after the Rams pipped them to the top six by just one point.”

The only players they’ve had off us in recent years are David Nugent (£2.5m) and Julian de Sart (loan). Guessing they failed to keep up the Nugent payments?

I put this below on another thread on the same subject and had them owing over £74 million.

I see figures have just been released regarding the money Derby and the clubs connected companies owe the HMRC and it doesn't make good reading for Derby fans. Derby owe the HMRC £29.3m and also have a loan of £20m owed to MSD Holdings. They also owe a further £15m to football and trade creditors and £8.37m in outstanding player registration fees, plus a further £504,000 in agents' commission. More than £1m is owed to the Wasserman agency, while the Triple S Sports Management company, owned by manager Wayne Rooney's long-time adviser Paul Stretford, is owed £60,000. St John Ambulance is owed £8,000.

If my maths are correct, Derby owe a total of £74.35m. I think it will be the HMRC debt that will cripple them.

Mel Morriss certainly knew what he was doing.

They even owe St John's Ambulance £8000. Not even paying a charity's bill.

And a business around the corner from me is owed over £50k. That could crush them.

I believe Wesserman agency is outstanding Payment to Cocu.

Simon Jordan has just been saying on TalkSport that he tried to get Steve Gibson and Mel Morris on a call together as he is apparently 'close' with both, but there was strong reluctance from Gibbo because he feels 'so aggrieved' by it all.

Never had SJ down as some sort of peacekeeper.

He's not, he's a man who loves to hear himself speak on a radio channel that likes to stir things for drama.

Gibbo's not daft and wouldn't get drawn into taking part in that kind of thing. Who does Jordan think he is, Judge Rinder?
