Great win today, Warnock supporters need to be very sheepish

Surely it isn’t the best job in your lifetime? It was an ok job overall. Nothing more nothing less.
I don't mean overall. Warnock came in at a time when Boro were truly awful and heading for League One. Stopping that was a brilliant achievement.

Yeah he did a great job there but was pretty disappointing after that really. Respect the job he did in keeping us up though as Woodgate was taking us down.

Terry Venables is 78 and hasn’t worked in football (to a decent degree) for 14 years. Not sure he would have been the answer.

Don't be so silly, we had some great results and performances under Warnock. I guess you need a reminder ?

In fact after a great 2-0 victory away against Forest you said....

"Saying that they could have played all night and wouldn’t have scored again, we were brilliant tonight"
Not sure what your point is, I didn’t say we never played well under Warnock but we certainly never played to that level
We played well at forest, infact it was probably our best performance in 2021 under NW. But that was against a team that had lost 6 in a row

Warnock himself said he was getting everything from this group of players, the last 3 games especially today showed he wasn’t, there is much more to come and the decision to change managers was completely justified based on this

My point is you said we were "BRILLIANT" when we beat Forest 2-0 away under Warnock !

Are you now saying you didn't see really mean it ??

We were brilliant against Forest compared to how we had played for most of 2021, but today was on another level to anything we ever produced under Warnock

Ok fair enough although the previous 2 home games against lesser teams we were poor..
We should steamroller Swansea next home game now we are playing on another level 👍😉

Wouldnt say we were poor at all in either one, especially when you compare it to other performances this season, thought we played really well on Tuesday until they scored. Those problems were never going to be fixed overnight

Older fans will recall that we signed Jon Gittens (RIP) on a permanent contract after he helped us secure promotion to the top flight under Lennie.

That was a sentimental decision made by the club as was giving NW a contract for this season.

Neil had us bottom half, those "lesser teams" are above us. I can see how you thought we played poorly on looking at the result, maybe you should get to a match for once and see for yourself :ROFLMAO:

To be fair to Warnock's Boro, the performance at Swansea last season was absolutely outstanding. We played them off the park that day and should've won it, but for the bizarre ruling out of a Bola goal and a weird penalty at the end. I thought we played some superb football that afternoon.

Also, why can't people just be a bit more humble and accept that Warnock's tenure had pretty much ran out of steam? The club wanted to go in a different direction, Warnock was only on a deal until the end of the season anyway, we were 14th in the table and not really playing very well, and there were better managers out of work at the time. It's nothing personal against Warnock, he did an excellent job of keeping us up and stabilising things, but lost his way from January onwards. It's sometimes as simple as that TBH. He did what he was originally brought in to do and I dare say Gibson will be incredibly thankful to him for that.

Now we have a more progressive manager who could really push us on in a way that it never felt like Warnock would ever be able to. Warnock left him some good players to work with and, again, deserves respect for that. As he does getting a tune out of Bola and Dijksteel(especially Bola) and bringing through Coburn.

Warnock has gone now, I think we're going on to bigger and better things under Wilder. Warnock's work is done at Boro and he will probably wish he left in the summer instead of doing another year. Whenever he's on Teesside he won't be short of people wanting to buy him a pint. But I'm sure he'll be fine. As will Boro.

As usual, the truth hurts some precious souls! Let’s get one thing clear - I can’t recall any criticism of Warnock when he kept us up - in fact quite the reverse.Universally praised and with a great deal of gratitude .
However the bottom line is as great as this was it doesn’t guarantee you are immune to avoid close inspection of both results and to a lesser extent performances. Our record in this calendar was poor action was needed. He had done a good job - this doesn’t guarantee you’re immune from the facts of life of football management

Err Neil had us in the play off zone despite a massive injury list. Those injuries caught up with us and we couldn't sustain the form. No surprise then when Bola and Djiksteel come back in our performance picks up.
We've won one game under Wilder against a pour side, let's wait until we play someone decent before we start cockadoodledooing shall we...Thanks
👍

Still don't see why you would make such a negative post about boro fans after a great away win, warnock is in the past now, maybe we should move on.
