Derby fans singing about Having a party when Steve Gibson dies

When schitt like that goes down,
We have to rise above it and turn our energy to supporting honest ordinary fans like Carmen [DCFC Blondie]
- and all the other decent folk in the football family.
The scum will always rise to the top,
But they are the ones left clinging to the sides,
Hoping someone will come along and save them.
Forget the flotsam and jetsam and let it go back into the gutter where it belongs.
Schitt stinks but it gets washed away.
Dont waste our time getting angry or using up energy.
Support each other in times of need.
Shout from the rooftops with our flag and follow our team.
We are not here to give oxygen to scum.
Leave it behind.
Up The Mighty Boro!

I get what you are saying but it shouldn’t be just ignored. It needs highlighting. Utter scum.

By that, I mean they shouldnt be allowed to get away with it, but lets not all get up in arms because of a few sick twits.
They need pitty, but I cant be bothered wasting time on them.
Thats why Im leaving it to our lads to beat them on the pitch.
I hope they come to their senses, but anyone wishing death or illness on people deserves no respect.

It was highlighted on the Derby forum by a poster called Boro5707 - guess what, within the hour their Mods have removed the post but not the replies - seems their siege mentality approach doesn't allow for rational debate.
Oh, and the short video on Twitter that caused the exchange, is absolutely disgusting - as @Diego said, the perpetrators are utter scum

I can’t wait until we smash them in front of a packed Riverside! We need to stop pandering to their tantrums now, I’m going to quietly enjoy watching them slip away to League 1.

It is very unpleasant, and clearly was a minority - ***ed up and coked up idiots, the type who posture at matches and continue to ensure football fans are treated like they were at Stoke away.

It‘s also clear that we (like many clubs) also have an unsavoury element to our support, as outlined on threads on here, the MSF meetings and press reports in the last couple of weeks.

Yes there is currently a lot of debate around the Derby / Boro situation atm, each set of fans entrenched in their respective opinions of “Gibson wants us liquidating and is the bad guy” and “Gibson is doing what The EFL should have done” however the vast majority of fans from both clubs are not scum, or horrible - they are passionate about their club and very tribal, the essence of football in England.

I actually can't believe they think Gibson is to blame for the mess their club is in. Any decent person can see Mel Morris badly managed the club and then decided to cheat. Gibson called out that cheating long before the current situation.

They are really coming across as a bunch of sad, deluded, in-denial tossers. I’m sure, like all clubs, they have their fair share of good decent fans, but the idiots are definitely the most vocal at the minute! Giving their fans a bad name.

It is horrible.

Still, I remember spending many saturday afternoons in my youth bouncing around the Holgate happily singing about inflicting physical harm and death on people. Seemed perfectly normal at the time, a positive sign I suppose that its no longer tolerated.

Steve Gibson is just a convenient excuse for the mess they're in.
They see us and Wycombe as the barrier to salvation.
I don't ever see that change. A Derby bogeyman forever.
Don't want them out of business but they deserve to go down, be nice to hammer them in a few weeks time to the sound of "There's only oneeeeeeeeee Steve Gibson....."
