Automatic Promotion - Forget it now....

I understand the exitement following a few good results but realistically this was never going to happen. We were simply too far behind even before last night and with 6 teams already ahead of us to overtake 5 of them was going to be almost impossible.
I think getting to the play offs is realistic but we are going to have to improve.

When Neil Warnock was unfairly sacked on Nov 6th we were 4 points outside the play offs. Today we are 2 points outside, so not much has changed really has it....
Thanks

I forgot it back in October.

I didn't think w could make a top two finish.. finishing the season in top two form is what it's all about for us.

There are always ups and downs, and mathematically, until its not possible, it still is and we can dare to dream. I think play-off's is our aim and automatic promotion performances are what we want going into that season finale. I'm way more optimistic about our chances than I was at the start of the season.

We can still catch 2nd place if our current form is anything to go by, we were unlucky last night and could have quite easily won it 2nd half.

I'm not saying we WILL get 2nd, am saying it's still within reach, but I think we'll end up with a playoff spot.

Its gone mate, you have to make up 10 points and the way the fixtures go and other teams picking up points it's nigh on impossible.....Like I've said we've been on a great run and are not even in the play off zone.
FORGET IT !!!
Thanks

So are you saying we won't even get a playoffs spot?

We were 14th when Warnock was sacked. We are now 7th playing a better brand of football and the squad looks like it’s in a good harmony and knows each other’s roles. A lot has changed for the better. Bring on Saturday.
The table was more bunched of course at that time with less games played......
We need to look at points from the play off zone.....only 2 points difference between Wilder and Warnock, pretty similar really 👍
