DJed Spence - what an assist

If he doesnt want to play for us, which has been said on here, then there is not much we can do, but I do get frustrated when we let our better players go.
 
He doesn't want to play for us.

Jones is better. He'd be a decent back up to Jones if he came back. I imagine he would have a face on if forced back to be back up.

So not worth bothering about unless someone pays us a few quid for him👍
 
Imagine having him on the right and moving Jones to the left, would be better than anything else in this league. Really frustrating that we have lost someone who will likely go onto be a very good player, but at least we look like getting good money for him

I thought Balogun looked the part last night and showed a trick or two with a spurt of pace.

How many of our current players are worth what Spence is now
We have different opinions on him
He is with a manager who believes in him
Warnock didn’t and that is why he didn’t perform.
Let’s hope also that Jones isn’t injured or loses form
You are not looking at the bigger picture

Jones, Crooks, McNair, Tavernier, Fry, Sporar and I dare say Coburn will be soon.

I like Spence but he's not our player at present and I don't think he will be again.

If he had stayed, would Jones have played?

I think there is only one of us on here not seeing the bigger picture here. Wilder could have brought Spence back but didn't see the need. He obviously believes in Jones and didn't need Spence coming back and potentially upsetting the current setup.

I do hope the kid goes on to better things and makes a real name for himself.
 
Sadly he has had a few managers who question his attitude, JW,Nw , seems Wilder does not want him anywhere near here ........not a co-incidence ?
 
If Djed Spence had to move to prove himself and to develop then fine. I for one have no problem with him sticking two fingers up at us if that’s what he needed to do. I wish him the best of luck with his career, it’s a shame he couldn’t do it here but there’s no point wallowing in the ‘what might have beens.. It happens. Matic, Ricardinho etc

Better him tearing it up for another team than fading away into obscurity. UTB!
