I reckon that would mean that from January 2022, just over 15% of my monthly take home pay has been claimed by bill increases, on top of what I was already paying.
I managed to bring nearly £20 off some bills by combing through direct debits and deals during my lunch break, but it's a drop in the large financial puddle. My energy bill increases alone could provide two families with a full Sky package, which is why I find the lazy 'how to save money' articles in the paper so annoying. Netflix and takeaway cups of coffee... Mere pennies by comparison.
