Silence of The Rams

Really feel for the fans regardless of how they’ve reacted and blamed Gibson, nobody should see their club go bust however they now need to- Bury went bust owing less than £2m and Aldershot under £800k. Owing £30m to the tax man is never going to happen.

A few minutes back on their forum :

Just to make things worse . That snake Gibson has just pocketed £20 million for DJed Spence to Spurs - a player they couldn’t do anything with.

I said it on twitter the other day to one of them. Gibson has been on the right side of this all along.

Gibson was the first person to call out Mel Morris's reckless spending. Doing it publicly.
Gibson was the first person to call out Quantuma's lack of honest and transparent dealings, publicly with his open letter.

Derby fans are being dishonest with themselves by hating on Gibson, they need to be angry at themselves for not listening to him.

I actually got one of them to agree, first time ever.

How long is the next "deadline" for the sale of the club? 1 month? 3 months? 6 months? Bet Bury/ Darlo/Macclesfield fans are really understanding towards Derby's plight. Absolutely fooking stinks, double standards aplenty 🤬🤬
well the club is now out of money, someone 'close to the club' paid the wages last month. In 20 days or so they'll need to pay again that could be the death knell if they can't.

Another key point is the fixtures. The EFL might accommodate by creating provisional League One and Two fixtures subject to Derby proving they can operate next season. But they can't do that for long.

After last year's debacle of 2 sets of Championship fixtures with Wycombe and Derby in the championship I hope they are keen to avoid this.

Michael Knighton reincarnated?

The EFL have been supportive throughout and have shown incredible understanding to support a founder member, despite what the Derby fans say.

They now need to give a definitive date for the takeover to be completed in order for Derby to retain their golden share - this has to be the day prior to fixture release.

As a football fan, seeing what happened to our club in 86 I would hate for similar to happen to Derby.....no matter what the circumstances. We had a deadline of paying the HMRC £100p to the pound otherwise bye, bye Boro. Thankfully we survived. Fast forward 30 years and Bury, Macclesfield, Darlo, Aldershot etc have been swiftly dealt with. Relegated multiple divisions, forced to start again.......but Derby despite their ridiculous financial scullduggery are given enough time as they please to sort themselves out. Why?? They cheated, got caught out, and now cannot repay their debts in time. So why are they not demoted to a East Midlands pub league? If they "get away with this" and start next season in league 1 why can't the aforementioned clubs lodge a complaint? Shows what a complete and utter bunch of incompetent sh*ts the EFL are, not fit for purpose .
