QPR view & Predictions

Looking forward to the match at the weekend, just had a quick nosey on over at a QPR board. Predictions for the weekend, only 3 of the first 13 people to respond predict a QPR win. 5 expecting a defeat.

Only 5 of 18 responses think they will make the play offs, and general consensus think a long hard slog of a season in the lower half.

Their fans seem a bit of a mirror of ours in some way. Frustrations that they have a rubbish set of strikers and can't seem to sign a new one. Saying they spaffed 4.5m on 3 strikers in Lyndon Dykes (Chair and him don't work well together), Bonne (fast but no footballing brain). Charlie Austin (Hero to Zero), Kelman (lower league quality).

We really are not the only ones struggling to get the right players into the club, and failing with previous signings, I'm not sure the fans are behind the new manager, could be a great time to play them.

Anyway, I think Saturday could be the start of the Forss era, and one last hurrah from Duncan. 3-1 Boro

Hasn't Charlie Austin left?

Bit of an unknown quantity this season (aren't they always?!)

Beale seems a promising appointment, had success elsewhere as an assistant.

Their signings haven't been great though.

Keeping Chair quiet will be key, he's an excellent footballer at this level and could comfortably operate in a better side in my opinion. Expect a very open game as they're unlikely to sit back. Score draw I reckon.

agreed, he's very creative, you can't keep him quiet at this level for 90 mins. Can overplay it a bit and can pull his own team out of shape by going on mazy runs, managers will pull their hair out one minute than think he's great the next.

We haven’t got a particularly good record at their place - a point would be far from disastrous, baring in mind we’re far from the finished article yet

Thought they were brilliant at the Riverside as was Chair, thought they would of finished top six at least not sure what went wrong for them

I agree entirely, I've never seen us win there and I've been a few times, nice if that changes on Saturday mind
