It was a rip-roaring affair - "that sums it up".
"I thought we showed tremendous balls"

"Stick your chest out and have a go at each other"

They were really aggressive and niggly with feet being left in after the ball had gone all game. It took us 20 minutes to start giving it back to them.
 
It definitely sounds as though Akpom has won him over. I guess also in training with things we don't see.

He's contracted to us and may save us a few quid. Also from his point of view then where realistically is he going to go 'better?'. It's a great opportunity for him.

I enjoyed the match. It was a proper champo ding dong.

The surprising thing is that if anything I'm more concerned about us at the back than going forward. We've enough in the building to score goals.

We seem to have created a new problem at the back. We don't look as good as we did last season.
 
To be fair we were conceding a lot of goals in the second half of last season. Our reputation for being solid defensively was only earned up til the turn of the year,
