Wales or USA

Davies on my Mothers side, Great Grandparents left the welsh mines for the Ironstone mines in the 1890's so Wales.

I'm more concerned about losing to USA than Wales so logic dictates I would prefer a Wales win
That, and well Wales are our friends and neighbours and don't stand a chance

USA to win? USA? Have you ever met a yank and spoke to them? USA could do with a defeat or two, just to settle them down, give them a little humility.

Wales and it’s history and people are interwoven with the people and history of Middlesbrough.. I mean I love Zach Steffen. They don’t! Get them ta fcuk!

Wales are the boro of international footbal, USA.. good Lord!
I agree. There's an instagram account called "usmnt only". It's a joke of an account if you read the comments. US "soccer" fans are infuriating. They think they're going to beat us but when we inevitably beat them 2-0 or 3-0, they'll go back on what they said and pretend they never had a chance.

They uploaded a video of England fans singing jingle bells at today's match and were saying all of our chants are "corny" and generally *****. Have they ever listened to any of their own chants? Absolute shambles all of them.

A draw tonight is the best result England can hope for, but it would put a smile on my face to see Wales pump them.

One thing I would say is that the Kieffer Moore annoyed me.

He was born and raised in Devon, played for England C in 2016, and received his first call up for Wales in 2019 at the age of 27, through his one Welsh grandfather, after trying and failing to qualify for China through a Chinese great-grandparent.

He's almost entirely English, clearly didn't have a strong connection to Wales if he tried to play for China first, and he comes out and says it would be amazing to knock England out of the World Cup.

Much like the 2014 Euros where half the Wales squad were English and they still recorded themselves celebrating England being knocked out, despite it having no impact on Wales in the tournament.

Yeah, I haven't forgotten that. Wasn't just one or two of their players celebrating either.

I don't support any of the other home nations at tournaments.

People are missing the point here as it’s not about being anti Welsh it’s s about what is the best result for England to advance and a Welsh win tonight all but sews up that first automatic spot.
You are presuming that 'we' want England to win.
