I remain firmly in the brown+mayo lobby and there is a reason why. You should just try it. But the trick is moderation, just a very small drizzle/smear of brown sauce and slightly more mayo. It sounds wrong, it breaks the rules. It is delicious. Everyone I've ever given one of these to wants to know what's in them. No one has ever rejected or failed to finish one.
Like a Thousand Island dressing but brown

It's mayo for BLT. There's no other answers that are acceptable.

Salad cream should be a million miles away from bacon. Brown sauce for just a standard bacon sandwich.

Whatever comes in the shop bought versions - never made one myself and didn't even realise hot bacon in one was a thing if I'm honest!

I'm going to be controversial here. The correct accompaniment for bacon in a sandwich is bacon fat. Nothing else is needed.

I've done a bit of soul searching since lunch and realised that I've been living a lie, I've been using the BLT as a way of feeling better about eating a bacon sandwich :sneaky:
The question I ought to have been asking is "does salad belong in a bacon sandwich ?" and the answer is a resounding NO of course not, get a grip of yourself Central 👊😠👊
A nice bacon sandwich with brown sauce next time, maybe a nice fried egg on top :p or should that be tomato sauce

Neither. mayo or ketchup. Bacon sandwich has the option of brown sauce but not BLT.

The best no toasted sandwich is in my opinion Dave Listers fried egg, chilli sauce and chutney sandwich.

Brown sauce is incredible with tomato and bacon but I’m not sure i could do it with lettuce. Therefore I’ll vote brown and make the sandwich bt
