    Anyone here use Unifi gear

It's not consumer level kit so comparing it to those entry level items isn't useful. Comparing it to Apple also isn't accurate in the slightest - it's the complete opposite of Apple.

    Anyone here use Unifi gear

Unifi are cheap! Compare them to other products with the same feature set and they're massively cheaper - there's actually a lot of snobbery in the industry against using Unifi. They're definitely not the Apple of the networking world - for that look at Meraki.

    Anyone here use Unifi gear

It's excellent, I'd highly recommend it but you will need to do your research and understand how to configure it. You could spend hours working on it and tweaking it if you wanted. I'd be wary of the LR APs - in most circumstances you'd be better with 2 regular APs rather than 1 LR AP and as...

    Colin Cheng's

Bad example, there are loads of examples of politically convenient Ofsted outcomes. There's loads of examples of politically convenient timing of inspections too. Ofsted are the living embodiment of subterfuge, they tried to clean up their act more recently and stop with the whole "Yes, it says...

    Starmers response to rishi pledges

So I’ve posted “nonsense” and now you’re calling me daft. Why can’t we have a discussion without the personal remarks? It wasn’t down just to Brexit as if it was you’d have seen the Tories get much closer to 17.4m votes. There are a whole range of reasons why the list such as media influence...

    Sunderland Away Ticket Info

On this thread people in favour of the current system have identified a benefit to MFC of a large away following - why hand that to Sunderland when they give us such ridiculously small allocations?

    Starmers response to rishi pledges

If it was 100% down to Brexit then why didn’t the Tories get 17.4m votes?

    Sunderland Away Ticket Info

Rob this needs bringing up at the next meeting. If this is how Sunderland are going to treat our allocation then we need to know if MFC are going to respond and only allocate Sunderland fans a similarly small % of the ground capacity the next time we host them. Otherwise we constantly get...

    Starmers response to rishi pledges

We didn’t win though did we? The reasons for the Tories winning last time are complex and varied and are not just down to Brexit. Remember the derision when Corbyn suddenly announced the free broadband policy? The Labour campaign was messy and lacked proper planning and structure. To be...

    Starmers response to rishi pledges

To govern you first have to be elected. Blair understood that and it was reflected in his first term budget commitments. We’ve tried presenting the public with a more radical agenda and been comprehensively beaten. We have to be more circumspect and take people with us gradually rather than...

Jones getting pelters on the radio after the game

So no assist in our 4-1 destruction of Wigan and no start tonight but he's still our "top threat'? It's utter nonsense right now. I want him to come good, I hope he does, but right now he's doing b***r all.

    Haha you wish Nobmeister.

Jones getting pelters on the radio after the game

I got pelters for saying he'd been underperforming before. He's supposed to be our "top attacking threat" - so "top" that in our 4-1 win over Wigan he contributed neither an assist or a goal and is way, way, down the league assist table. We've just beaten Blackburn with Carrick choosing to drop...

I'm pretty sure that frivolous appeal rule got canned not long after and is no longer in place.

Military told not allowed to use blue lights on ambulance cover

It's a choice by the government to accept the recommendation of the pay review body, yes. But the panel itself, at least the panel on teacher pay, has to abide by the range they're given to work within. Their own stooges have been saying it's not enough.

Military told not allowed to use blue lights on ambulance cover

If it's anything like the panel on teacher pay I can tell you it's the very opposite of independent - it's stacked with people appointed by the Tories and they're given a range they have to stick to. The panel on teacher pay has frequently commented that they would have liked to recommend a...

    For the EV heads

It’s not that bad. I average 3.5 miles per kWh and that’s with lots of A19 driving at a brisk pace.

I've got the Ioniq 5 and love it but the 6's styling doesn't do it for me.
