I'm almost certain that the play off final date was confirmed on this page previously: https://www.efl.com/news/key-dates/ - this now just says 27-29 May. I'm pretty certain when the fixtures were released, clubs put a bit on the end stating that the Championship Play Off Final was the Monday...

I'm torn. Can see the point there, but I also think going out of the cup then just enables full focus on the league. A cup semi final at Wembley surely has to take their minds/focus off fixtures around it. Also an additional game to fit in - injuries, suspensions etc possible.

Us vs. Luton looks to be the stand out game from that weekend, I'd be surprised if we aren't picked for that early Saturday slot. Perhaps Huddersfield vs. Sheff U would be live on the Friday, depending on if they're in the Semi or not too.

I think I read that any rearrangement would be the midweek before the final weekend, which could make it a right scrap for both Hudds and Sheff U. Got everything crossed they go through on Saturday though. An FA Cup semi final surely has to take even a slight focus away from the league games...

Can't help but feel really deflated today after both ours and their results. Felt like it could be a huge week with the possibility of us overtaking them (albeit if every result went our way), but I do think a 6 point gap at this stage feels very big. The fact Heckingbottom might be waking up...
