This Altering of Film Classics has gone too far now!!! (Chariots of Fire)

Not sure as the reworking hasn't finished being made yet, they're up to the home straight. I'm hoping the Burnley bloke stops just before the finish line to tie his shoelace (when we play them) then no doubt steps over it first, calm as you please. Worth noting as well that he may have had to...

Does the reworking get a Yay or Nay?🤔

This Altering of Film Classics has gone too far now!!! (Chariots of Fire)

It seems they've even altered the wonderful classic 'Chariots of Fire' to supposedly "more reflect modern times" or such like...🙄 Have a look at this clip I've posted, I'm sure this classic scene has been changed somewhat? Whether it's actually for the better I'll leave you lot to decide...

    Chuba's redemption story

This scenario wouldn't be too bad at all, but I'd still want Chubes to get the other. And a worldie of a goal to boot. I think us getting 20 points plus would have us clear of the Blades, but I also think 19 would be enough, to beat them on GD. Just a feeling I have.

    Chuba's redemption story

You're right, I much prefer us catching the Blades. Less chew and gives us more time to prep for the Prem should it happen. However, IF this doesn't happen then I'm sure most Boro fans would settle for this outcome as a close second. Especially if Chubes goes absolutely rampant in front of a...

    Riley Mcgree

Have to confess this was my first thought too. Though the Australian team doctors don't seem to deal much with specifics with their diagnosises... "He’s had the flu and those types of things,” confirmed Australia head coach Graham Arnold.

What is the furthest you have ever walked

Up to around 25 to 30 miles a day on busier jobs, but doing that distance repeatedly on consecutive days. Whilst carrying 50kg floors, 80kg legs etc. And in the words of Brad Pitt from Snatch "Yer stay till the job's done." Probably the most exerting job I've done and didn't start doing it...

    Did Johnson lie to Parliament?

Yes. The only question is how many times.

Beautiful songs that deserved to be bigger

This. In fact a lot of Ren's stuff, he's multi-talented and very underrated.

Since Carrick was appointed, we have only dropped pts in one game

I'd wager that if this trend continues for one more month that could well spell promotion? Obviously we play 7 games in April, so we'd stand to get 18 or 19 points from them and have either 85 or 86 points prior to Coventry, along with a GD that is probably hard to beat. Of course if the trend...

    The run in

I mentioned weeks ago that applying knowledge of form, etc (and ok, a fair amount of guesswork!😁) had my being led to the most likely eventuality (out of hundreds) of both sides finishing on 86 points. Weeks later and I still consider that marginally the most likely. It would be a repeat of our...

Since Carrick was appointed, we have only dropped pts in one game

Or Luton manager Edwards of course, though they have a lesser GD🤔

Since Carrick was appointed, we have only dropped pts in one game

Win our next game and that's a half-season return of 53 points. Achieve that over a full season...and as I think I mentioned before, you'd have 106 points, or equal to the greatest Championship side ever since it was rebranded, Reading in 05/06. As another aside, doubling the 50 championship...

Since Carrick was appointed, we have only dropped pts in one game

That's some kind of cosmic alignment of the stars territory and surely can't happen to two managers in a season, which is why I'm happy Carrick hasn't won the poisoned thing. Aren't nominations after 7 or 8 days after month end normally, with the winner for the previous month announced on the...

    Our corners are officially rubbish

It's no big surprise to me really. We're not great at corners, indeed far better at scoring from open play than any set piece, penalties not withstanding. Do we need to improve in this area? Of course, though our threat from open play largely negates this. However as other posters have touched...

    When to overtake the Blades?

This if we're ahead on GD. The basic premise of win and we're overwhelmingly likely up (as the Blades don't score many and would have the GD to overcome, likely by a few), in front of a Riverside full house👍

Please stay like this. Norwich, Luton, Watford draw. Millwall lose. This could be the complete antidote to the midweek dog's turd of a results list.👍 Especially if the Baggies get owt off the Blades game in hand.

There we go...🤪🤣 I didn't even have to call them gash, which I believe is the usual magic incantation for something to happen?🤔 However, the other point still stands. Sunderland doing crap things = Useless Mackem puddings. Sunderland somehow doing the Boro a favour = Mogga is an absolute legend.😁

"Come on Mogga" Softens the stink, see? Not that I expect those useless $ods to do anything of note though.🙄
