Can We Campaign For People To Register For Postal Vote

The number of MPs reportedly being investigated for sexual misconduct allegations in a report last year in the Guardian was 56, not far off 10% of all MPs. From Jedi's post voter fraud is clearly not an issue. We know the reasons why this is being implemented. Where is the opposition? We...

I agree with all your points, any idea where there is a higher calibre version? They had us down as getting Bernie from Burton Albion when we all know it was West Brom......

Championship net spend per club over the last 5 years

I saw an interesting article on the thread title yesterday for anyone who is interested in this. Can you guess what our net spend is over the last 5 years? There will of course be a number of teams who have played in the top flight and benefited as such. According to the figures the greatest...

    Boro's future ambitions?

Newcastle did not spend 10 times what Middlesbrough spent in that era, that is simply not true.

Boro’s points average since Michael Carrick took over.

The last time we scored over 70 goals was in the 1997-1998 promotion season, hitting 77. That should be reachable all being well.

Oh god, “STOP THE BOATS” is their slogan

I think they will try and rush it through parliament and rely on legal challenges to enact your point about the election.

    Blue Monday 40 years old

Brings back great memories of the Waterfront on a Saturday night in Stockton with DJ Kitch. Best night was dancing to the Roses while trying to watch Boro hammer Newcastle 4-1 in 1990.

Middlesbrough Supporters Forum statement after meeting with Steve Gibson on season card price rise

Of course, thanks. The fee is the tip of the iceberg, many decent points raised. You need to take into account all the costs you have listed, however the costs associated with the development and all other associated costs with Tav for instance will have already been accounted for in previous...

Middlesbrough Supporters Forum statement after meeting with Steve Gibson on season card price rise

You could also look at the amount of money the club has brought in from the sale of players at a profit, most recently Spence and Tavernier. You could go back further too, Gibson and Traore spring to mind.

Middlesbrough Supporters Forum statement after meeting with Steve Gibson on season card price rise

Regarding the "significant gains in commercial revenue", it is difficult to compare year on year as the year ending June 2021 will have been hampered by the pandemic.

People not from the Teesside area, and without a Teesside family connection, following the Boro

I got a mate into supporting Boro at Uni. He is from the West Country, hearing him sing the songs was funny. Still hear from him talking about Boro. We meet up a for a few games a season, if we can get hold of tickets.

    Does it get any better

I came up for the match with a mate. I think the Holgate was sold out as I had to get a ticket for the seats behind the goal. My mate couldn't get in as he didn't have a membership card so I left him in the Empire! I went to the semi final second leg at Old Trafford. I can still picture Pally...
