    Andrew Tate interviewed

I think that. One of the things that makes me feel old. Like with the energy drinks bottles. There's just no way Tate would be seen as cool by school kids in the 90s or early 00s. Hes a try hard, always gets flustered in his interviews.

    Play offs and penalties

Costs too much to go to a football match these days for there not to be a result on the day. Different for folk in the 70s hitchhiking everywhere and paying tuppence and an onion on the gate to get in.

Players bringing kids on the pitch before kick off

So long as the snipers don't take their kids on the roof before they've assassinated their target for me.

Live Labour broadcast on the future of the NHS

Right. So what's that mean? He will do the tax increase and is trying to mislead voters that he won't? That'll go down well will it?

Live Labour broadcast on the future of the NHS

The first 4 bullet points all seem to be different ways of describing the same single policy. And since Starmer is now saying he doesn't want to increase income tax, maybe that whole plan has gone down the swanny.

    The great robbery

Wonder if/when we'll ever get another opportunity to elect a left wing government. 34 year gap between Foots 1983 election and Corbyns 2017 one. 2051 if it takes a similar amount of time. I'll be in my 60s.

    Carrick - Big Game Bottler

Hahaha f*cking hell. "Closer to the bottom than the top" is a very misleading way to describe Brighton.

What can you say about that?

Yeah true, there'll be lots of changes, that's for sure. Same as every year.

What can you say about that?

Bit OTT. One of the teams had to lose tonight. It happens. Nobody died. I always find it very odd when fans of clubs like ours go into meltdown over losing a match. How are you not used to it?

    Paul Mullin sign him on

You don't see so many proper 'woosh's on here these days. Well in Col.

Are we playing netball rules? Why are none of our players moving when they get the ball?

    I was wrong about starmer

That's mad that nobodys spent Friday night doing the homework you set them. I can't believe it. What's wrong with people? 😜

    I was wrong about starmer

Relies on a Starmer government being "good" doesn't it. Judging by the rest of the thread even his proponents are mostly saying it only might maybe possibly hopefully be a bit less sh*t!

    I was wrong about starmer

I have to admire that optomism Col, that's definitely not the usual ending to the "give them some rope..." metaphor! :ROFLMAO:

    I was wrong about starmer

Wherever I've said left/right feel free to substitute whatever words you feel comfortable with. The point is, and I think we agree, the 2024 Labour manifesto will at least be something different to the 2019 one. And new voters attracted by that change will quite rightly expect it to be stuck to...
