That definition rather depends on what is said though, surely? Gash, crap stealing a living, heart the size of a pea. Some of the abuse Southgate got on here was awful, ditto mogga.

YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

Yes losing an election won't make a blind bit of difference to their thinking. Pr stops the tories in their tracks.

YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

The tories are not interested in PR. Their collective dismay at Labours move toward civic assemblies, the mechanism for electoral reform, was universaly castigated by the tories, exactly because they are terrified of electoral reform which would forever scupper their long term plan. That was a...

YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

It's way too late to get PR through parliament before the next election. That is assuming they would even entertain it, which they wouldn't.

YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

Not sure they can get rid of sunak. Wouldn't he call a ge? He doesn't need party support to do that. So ousting him comes with some risk.

    360º cloud inversion

Technically you are right, but to be classified as fog I think, and I am remembering GCE geography from 1980'ish the elevation of 50 feet (might be 50 meters) is the line of demarkation, I also recall there is a difference in the density based on the elevation too, cloud is generally much more...

    360º cloud inversion

It's cloud cover, not fog. I was in greymouth in NZ a few years ago and they get cloud cover at seas level occasionally. It looks weird. I walked out of the hotel and there was cloud rolling along the street. Greymouth is on the coast so it's at sea level.

    360º cloud inversion

I thought this was just called a whiteout. I was fortunate enough to witness this ontop of the old man of conniston in the lake district. It's a little eerie.

    London - Night Out Suggestions

I like Camden for a night out. Good selection of traditional pubs and more modern bars. Dublin castle just off the high street is a great pub.

Do ElectricCars have an Air Pollution Problem?

Is that really true? If so a more I don't see why after a war sex occurs more frequently at the right time in a womans menstrual cylce. Maybe there is some weird balancing by nature... Who knows. It is certainly a weird fact.

Do ElectricCars have an Air Pollution Problem?

Most of what you have said there is probably correct, I am not a mateial scientist. The bit you are missing is how much torque is applied when the vehicle starts to move. A heavier vehicle requires more torque applied (the amount of work that is required). Same as for a HGV. Alos the amount of...

Do ElectricCars have an Air Pollution Problem?

Not quite. Torque isn't what spins the wheel but the force applied between the rubber and the road. What spins the wheel is the rate of speed of the wheel and inertia which is based on the amount of rubber in contact with the road. Essentially overcoming friction. The force applied to the road...

    This Lindsay Hoyle business

Not sure why you are bothering Molteni. There is not one shred of reliable evidence that Starmer attempted to blackmail Hoyle but that doesn't matter. Folks are entitled to hold whatever view they please, but whilst some people view this incident through a prism of hate for starmer, you wont...

Who are we all wanting to see replaced in the summer?

We don't really know what we need in the summer because we don't know who is leaving. Assuming no one leaves other than loans. We need a right back. I am not sure about left back we haven't seen enough of bangura to know whether the 2 we have are sufficient. We need a cm to replace howson...

Do ElectricCars have an Air Pollution Problem?

You are a long way out here Andy. It doesn't require the same torque to turn a wheel far from it. With ice vehicles the max torque is for a very small range on the rev band and it is significantly less than an electric car. Furthermore an electric car uses 100% of its torque from a couple of...

Poor Liz Truss was thwarted by the 'Deep State'
