    Red faction statement.. ticket prices

I'll just be going to the games that I can get to. Problem is that I don't know from one day to the next if my back is going to be all right so I can't really make any plans. It feels fine today but I might wake up tomorrow in agony.

    Red faction statement.. ticket prices

Disappointing. I'd already made the decision not to renew long before all this kicked off. Nothing to do with the money. It just doesn't make sense for me as things stand. I've got too many family responsibilities and I've had all of this trouble with with my back this year so I've missed loads...

Which actor(past or present) would you want to play you if your life story was made into a film?

A young Alain Delon. Or maybe Harry Dean Stanton.

Newy for PM. He'd get my vote.

    This Lindsay Hoyle business

This it turning into a silly sausage thread.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

Can we not just all agree that Norton is the best place in Teesside and leave it at that?

    A green one, surely?

    FAO: Newy

I'd have you down as the third most entertaining poster on the board Nobby, with me in second place and Newy at the top by some considerable distance. He's a visionary with the soul of a poet and with an ego almost as big as my own. There's no shame in finishing in third place, Nobster. You...

    FAO: Newy

If we've lost Newy again and we're stuck here with burger boy now then I'm flouncing. It was bad enough losing Erimus74 to the dark side. This forum is nothing without Newy. He's the most entertaining poster on the board.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

I think there's a few more of us too.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

Hmmm. That's a tricky one for me. Probably The Red Lion purely because that's where all of us who lived away from the area would meet up when we were back home. I b*ggered off to uni at eighteen and worked away for decades and I only came back here a few years ago.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

Well I don't frequent any of them these days so what does that say about me? I found that I didn't really miss going to the pub during lockdown so I didn't bother going back when things returned to normal, whatever normal is in Norton, the Twin Peaks of Teesside.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

My apologies, Legz. I should have said that it was OUR village, not just mine.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

Norton is a village and it's MY village so if anyone says anything bad about it on this thread I'm going to get really, really cross.

    Could you be a Copper?

That's my mate Mike, exactly. He doesn't trust anyone these days, not even me and we've been best friends since nursery school.

    Could you be a Copper?

I could but I wouldn't. Mate of mine is a copper down south working in child protection type stuff. I couldn't cope with seeing the things that he sees every day. It's changed him completely. He used to be a life and soul of the party type of bloke and now he's an entirely different person...

    Injured by moving

That was probably your own fault to be fair. Why was the car gripping the steering wheel? You should have been doing that yourself. Don't go blaming the car.

What a cheery thought. Thanks for that.
