    Style v Substance

Above everything, I want to see Boro win. We were brilliant for 35 minutes against Sheff Wed - that evening, it was the most gutted I've seen my lad after a game. I would have much preferred a stodgy 1-0 win. If it was just pure entertainment, I'ld take my pick of the multitude of games...

Some serious over reaction on here yesterday.

This - 15 minutes into the 2nd half, I wasn't sat thinking, bloody hell, we were great in that first half hour. That 15 minutes yesterday was one of the most calamitous I've seen watching us (for almost 50 years). A mostly spineless side, with no leaders, who look fantastic when mullering...

What's the heaviest music you listen to/enjoy?

    I'll plump for Vomir.

    Farmers threat

Demo today in Thirsk. I lived in Easington during the Miners Strike. I wondered to myself how many present (who were old enough) today gave two tosses about the decimation of swathes of the country back then.

    Reform/Lee Anderson

We will save loads of money & the NHS will be incredibly inefficient. How? Don't know. Unfortunately, a lot of people will only take note of sentence one.

Can somebody give me a balanced view on Trump?

Regards propping up Netanyahu, I'm not so sure. I'ld say one thing he will not do is ever put boots on the ground. That may make Israel think twice about an ever expanding geographical conflict. He is many many (bad things) but he is not, based on his first 4 years, a hawk.

    Carrick out

This. The team is, I assume, instructed to play in a manner beyond their skill set game after game. 2 years in, why do people think we will suddenly cut out the absolute horror show errors we commit on a weekly basis? The red yesterday was as a result messing up playing from the back...

    Dieng

Has cost us 4 points with huge errors. Hasn't won us any points with a great performance Incredibly over rated by some in my opinion

    This wonderful talented squad

I think the best summation of this is - we aren't good enough to play out from the back as we try to do. Regular errors across the board, not just one particular player. For me, that means we need to at least be more selective in our approach.

How bad are we? Are we even bad?

Boring. Predictable. Fragile. No cutting edge up top, prone to error at the back. We do often control the chunk of the pitch that, when all's said and done, is irrelevant though.

Bands are skipping more towns and cities on tour

We started at the Auxiliary but now dot around town. We've hosted nights at The Chapel, Off the Ground, Cafe Etch, Town Hall Courtrooms (and fire station and cells), Python Gallery, Pineapple Black, International Community Centre and Disgraceland. Anywhere that will have us 😂

Bands are skipping more towns and cities on tour

As I say, it is not very mainstream! We are never going to fill the Crypt unfortunately! Just hoping to gradually get a few more people to take a chance on, at least, some of the more 'accessible' stuff we put on 🙂

Bands are skipping more towns and cities on tour

I have ran a programme in town for the past 2 years. It is, honestly, the envy of the rest of the UK with regard to experimental music. It's just rather niche as I say. Leif Elggren and CM Von Hausswolff played last week...1 UK show. Robert Turman came to Boro and only played here...his 1st...

Bands are skipping more towns and cities on tour

Middlesbrough does, however, have the best programme, outside of London, of experimental music in the UK. A list of artists playing that way exceeds the likes of Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham etc It's just niche, that's all.
