No, but surely you can see how more people decided to break the rules when you see those in charge defending rule breakers. Surely you can understand the human psyche enough to realise it’s legitimising breaking the rules. It’s certain it’s lead to more people breaking the rules than would have...

Because then we couldn’t give money to rich Tory party donors. It’s obvious really.

    The Bridge (Broen/Bron)

Thanks to this thread I’ve gone back to watching Broen/Bron realised I’ve never seen the fourth series and can’t remember the third! It’s like meeting up with an old friend. Reminds me of when killing Eve first came out. I got excited because it had Kim Bodnia in it. Was so enthusiastic my...

There weren’t enough. There will always be law breakers but when those that introduce the laws defend them being broken, it makes sense many more people would think “if it’s alright for them” no question

The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

Thanks. I know this thread is a bit of a bombardment of stats but this one, and bears and Billy’s are good because they are pure figures. No spin

The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

I heard the but about cases rising on radio x. I assume it’s on all the global radio stations (global as in the radio company not as in all the radio in the world)

This is the one! I like this table. The colour coding helps give a quick visual as to things

The 9am figures not disclosed yet?

I heard that this morning. I’m confused as cases seem to be dropping by a decent %age. It also said cases in London are rising. Which is depressing for me. @Randy what is the source of the graph you used to post? The regional breakdown helped.

That’s alright then. It took one gamble on its vaccine policy that paid off. That offsets all the needless deaths, that offsets the billions sent to Tory donors instead of companies that could have helped us during the crisis. That offsets slow actions in lockdowns and ignoring scientific advice...

You don’t know until you try. You think I wouldn’t admit I’m wrong. The simple fact is no one has been able to describe a tangible benefit of Brexit that offsets the negatives. Just try giving me that and see where it leads

It was crazy. If there wasn't video footage I would have put the memory down to, erm, inebriation!

I should say I know someone who has met them too and they were properly nice down to earth fellas. There are no heirs and grace to Gruff.

I love SFA. My greatest ever gig moment came when I saw them at Glastonbury. The had just finished their set and left us with the swirling psychedelic nightmare of the techno outro to "the man don't give a fudge". When a van drives through the crowd right behind me. People try and climb on the...

The fact that he set the rules. And he was defended by every single member of the cabinet for doing so kind of does. Not Cummings but the people that defended him are elected representatives of us, the people. Therefore if they say its ok to break their rules. It must be, surely?

Not at all. I'm happy to debate when the brexiteers let me know what the tangible benefits are. I've been waiting 4 years so far but we'll see. Some people seem to be upset by what the perceive as name calling so I'm sure they will be along with facts so I can admit I was wrong and apologise.

I don’t because there’s nothing to understand. You continue blindly believing in Brexit and ignoring the damage it’s doing. When did ignorance become a point of view?

Yet you can't explain why you've made you country more isolated, more backwards and poorer? Odd way to express love. Your poor missus if that's how you show love.
