    6music is so, so bad

Proper version and all. Not the nonsense we play. By the way. did I ever tell you I was once on nodding-in-the-street terms with a member of Pigbag?

    Positivity ...Please!!!

Please come and tell this to the tw@s I find behind me week after week. I left when Jones was sent off last night and it was partly because I was fed up of listening to the volley of misinformed and, frankly, moronic rubbish that was being spewed out behind me. First Boro goal I've missed in...

Don't see the problem. I wish our game was on the Saturday then I could go.

    fao Boro stattos/stattoes/statti

Thanks. Glasper shows that he made his debut, and scored, against Grimsby on 7 September 1963. On which date he was 17 years and 64 days. So it looks like Wiki is a bit right but not totally. But he was certainly younger than David Murphy was when he scored. Any younger?

    fao Boro stattos/stattoes/statti

Who was Boro's youngest-ever goalscorer? Must have been in a senior game ie League, FA Cup or League Cup. And it must have been a goal for Middlesbrough so Nypan, for example, doesn't count. Wikipedia gives me Arthur Horsfield but the quoted age when he scored doesn't tie up with his birth...

Can you buy tickets to watch the Boro U21s?

I've been to U21 away games at Fulham's and QPR's and Tottenham's academy grounds. Arrangements vary. Fulham's is the best-organised but charge (not much) to get in. Tottenham's was free. But you could check with Liverpool.

    Dave Ball RIP

Sad news but I can't say I'm surprised. He lives (or lived - I haven't seen him for a while) near me and I'd often see him about the place. He looked a good bit older than he was and generally not well. My only direct encounter with him was a few years ago in a local pub where he was the drunk...

Hit songs that broke the mould

I dunno. I don't particularly like Bohemian Rhapsody and I positively hate it depending on mood, but it's pretty bold and different, albeit pretentious, whereas Imagine is a not-very-good, mawkish tune that is turned into an absolute stinker when the words are added

    Huddersfield v Bolton.

That was the first game I've watched on TV for yonks as it happened to be on in the pub I was in. My mate went to the bog and it was 1-0 to Huddersfield. When he came back it was 1-2. @mickbrown.
