Not really true. Karanka, Monk, Robson and McClaren were all younger than Mowbray when they took the reins and they were all backed heavily. Warnock was highly experienced and not hugely backed financially. Neither was Wilder really.

No one said ‘random’ to mean anything other than ‘without conscious decision’. “I opened the magazine on a random page.” Now people say things like, “I was talking to a random person,” or “Just a random non-league club.” etc
