    Those are exactly the jobs that cabotage would help solve and something foreign companies might find lucrative. There doesn't seem to be the same issue at continental ports as Maerske are rerouting from Folkstone to the Netherlands to get their super container ships on the move.

    There is more incentive for companies/drivers to get in and undercut UK haulage companies, which is more comprehensive than individual drivers making the move. The two week period will also allow some leeway for border delays.
