Walk around central Middlesbrough - whatever your political persuasion you can’t think that the area has been enriched and improved by immigration. Just an observation.

Apart from the occasional flash both not good enough, especially in their general play (short passes, tracking back, tackling) Greenwood especially disappears to the extent you don’t know he’s playing. Silvera has cost us quite a few points on late easy missed chances aswell….

Hull was pretty cheap too and was a much better ground than the Riverside which to me is starting to look really tired

I was 25 and travelled down on a coach with my 1st wife who was pregnant so drinking wasn’t much of an option. Bad atmosphere around the stadium before and after. Wembley was a crumbling freezing dump. The match was dire a massive anticlimax. Had to go but the real excitement was getting there

Scary how much we’ve spent over the years on absolutely terrible footballers. I’ve never seen a player miss as many sitters as Silvera - useless
