Last 3 songs listened to on Spotify/Apple Music etc?

Superb aren't they - gutted I missed out on the reunion last year (long may it continue, although I've not seen any plans for this year).

    Fantasy Premier League (FPL)

Always pull together a team pre-season and that's usually the last time I look at it. Don't watch much EPL these days anyway - that's probably the first time I've seen Everton this season (last night) and there's a handful of sides I haven't watched at all.

Sky games next season, 5 per weekend..

That risk should (hopefully) be mitigated by showing more games full stop. Where sky might debate between 2-3 fixtures currently in terms of which will have the most riding on it, presumably they could just show all three?

    Lewis O'Brien wants to stay

As important as personnel is working out exactly what we want from that midfield two and how we want them to play. Last season it worked really well, this season not so much (albeit injuries haven't helped). We're really poor on the transition in midfield, so if we're sticking with a two we...

    Lewis O'Brien wants to stay

I agree in terms of raw ability, but could equally say he contributed to those underperformances (if that makes sense?) It's clear he's not been at his best this season but we all know just how good he can be. If that ranking were based on potential pure ability he's top of it every time.

So if we have to sell one player in the summer...

I agree, I think we've improved the depth in those positions (something which massively stood out last season, albeit injuries weren't really an issue). A lot depends on how Silvera and Gilbert are viewed. My hunch is that one will remain as backup IF (L) next year, and one will be loaned out...

    Lewis O'Brien wants to stay

A quick check of whoscored ranks our CMs as follows this season, in terms of performances: 1. Howson 2. Barlaser 3. O'Brien 4. Hackney Even if Hackney stays this summer I'd want to improve the quality in that area of the pitch, but as for who moves on - it's a tricky one. As above, it's...

    What are British values?

Cheering when a pint pot smashes in a pub.

So if we have to sell one player in the summer...

Do we need to replace Crooks and Rogers? I'd argue Azaz was Rogers replacement and Crooks was surplus to requirements anyway. He was probably 3rd choice AM before he left, a position we don't really need three options for.

    World Snooker Championship.

Can't remember the last time we had so many seeds out in the first round. Good strength in depth on the tour I guess.

I need a little help seeing the positive.

I wouldn't say I'm hugely optimistic either. As ever with football it's all about finances. Our spend will equate to our performance next season more than likely. As I said on a different thread providing we don't sell all of our most saleable assets I'd say a spend of 10-15m should as close...

    Next seasons realistic aim

Perhaps I wasn't clear - if the club were offered promotion on a plate of course they'd take it (as would any club in the division) but (I'm hopeful at least) that there's a recognition within the club that the financial constraints we are working within mean it is not likely (or wise) to "rush"...

    "These things even themselves out"

This sums it up for me. I'm not personally affected by the "grave injustices" of decisions, even against Boro. There are frankly more important things to worry about in life. That said, as an observer of modern football, these are businesses whose future profitability (in many cases directly...

Anyone think houchen will get back in?

In response to the OP, why would he? Admittedly I don't live in the area any more but the collective amnesia really as pronounced as it was back in 2016?

Really looking forward to the Euros now

A 5-5 draw in the group match between Austria and Netherlands in Berlin. And finding a spare ticket on the floor for France v Netherlands in Leipzig :ROFLMAO:

Arne Slot - likely to be Liverpool manager

I'd be very surprised if one of those approaches wasn't from Utd.

    Next seasons realistic aim

Some supposition (the timelines for instance) but I think the basic approach is accurate. A need to get promoted would suggest financial issues if we don't get promoted? (As in we can't survive another season in the Championship without folding) - don't think that's the case? I'm sure we want...

    Next seasons realistic aim

This is the point though, we are building something - a financially sustainable football club. In some ways, the head coach/manager is secondary in our current approach. We will recruit to drive value in assets, enabling further investment and increase in quality of those we bring in. If...

    "These things even themselves out"

I'm a fan of VAR but I also think further codification of the rules would be useful, with out without VAR in use. Some of the definitions surrounding red card offences are vague at best.

    "These things even themselves out"

Is the regarding the Gnonto goal?! I'm genuinely surprised he's gone after that one as an example of a borderline offside! It's only Bamford standing the line of player and linesman which has resulted in that not being given, otherwise I'm 100% certain it's flagged.
