    F*CK VAR

Ok, the most exciting game ever then.

    F*CK VAR

It could also have been 5-5 with VAR, I can predict alternate realities too.

    Rwanda Bill & Jacob Young

    Typical inhumane Tory behaviour.

    F*CK VAR

The hawk-eye technology exists in the process because simply using fixed camera angles can be deceptive, turning something "clear and obvious" into something not so clear or obvious. Adding a big grey area into the process is hardly going to improve anything.

    F*CK VAR

VAR is just another step in the never ending cycle of things people will complain about in a football game. VAR exist because of it, it's now part of the game. Tens of thousands of Boro fans would have cheered the house down if we had VAR disallow Leeds 3rd goal, together with another 100...

    F*CK VAR

Who cares, just get on the with game and stop moaning about VAR. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    F*CK VAR

It looked more offside in real time. I would rather the rules of the game be applied correctly, but hey ho.

It happened and happens all the time. I must be going mad.

    Coventry v Man Utd

I must be imagining the days when marginal offside decisions were analysed to death and complained about, given or otherwise. Oh, it still happens in leagues without VAR.

You can literally Google it yourself.

    Coventry v Man Utd

So no marginal decisions were complained about 5 years ago?

    Coventry v Man Utd

No need, it's in my post above.

    Coventry v Man Utd

This would have been complained about 5 years ago, 10 years ago and 20 years ago. It's like some kind of weird re-imagining of history, where no one complained about decisions before VAR. We have VAR because of the complaining.

Each pitch is calibrated by hawk-eye and a 3d image of the pitch is created, which includes the camber. It's then recalibrated with 5 match cameras for each game. You would lose your bet.

    Coventry v Man Utd

Those lines aren't what determines offside, it's the 1 pixel lines. The "broadcast lines" are a thicker overlay for illustration. I'd also be more concerned about the enormous clogs the Man United players appear to be wearing in that pic.
