1000's of pounds worth of lego - question

I've been in the loft again, and have dug out 2 of the really big suitcases full of lego, including figures and sets. Wondering how much I'd get for it. Does anyone know what the going rate is.

I'll have to get the scales out then. I reckon there's about £4000 worth, when added up over the years. 😔 I'd rather sell as a job lot, can't be chewed weighing bits

There's full sets even train track sets, I don't have boxes or instructions. They went many years ago unfortunately

I know it's time consuming, but I really would have a good sift. Could find some money spinners.

My kids love Lego and I've been getting loads from eBay during the lockdown. Some of the 80s/90s kits from my childhood get good prices.

If you're not bothered about cash, offer it to a local school. It will always find some creative little hands to make something. I must have bricks older than me in the school where I work, but it's still the number one choice during wet play/lunch.

There's still more than a month of Lockdown left. Build something incredible.

I remember my cousin and I nicked his mam's giant dining room table and built a whole town on it one summer holiday. She didn't mind during the week, but Sunday Dinner was a bit awkward

I’ve just seen that my old pirate island from early 90’s is bringing about £85 these days. I think I’ll be Sifting through my Lego chest and trying to rebuild when I’m next up at my parents
