23.1 for me. However it says a healthy weight range for me would be 9 stone 3 lbs to 12 stone 7 lbs.
If I went under 11 stone I think I’d look ill.

Would you look ill because 64% of people are overweight so when we’re closer to 20 than 25 we really an obscurity compared to say 40 years ago

BMI isnt the best way to measure but is simple to calculate hence why its used.

The target weight for me according to NHS is 8-11 stone, at that level i would be a rake.

Perhaps so. In non COVID times I was a regular at the gym so usually carried a bit of muscle. Stopping doing that would probably a knock a bit of weight off.

If it goes ahead I’ll be running the great north run for charity this year so will be knocking weight training on the head and increasing the running mileage. So maybe we’ll see.

It will really drop of with running if you're eating correctly.

I've a BMI of 26.2 which suggests I'm overweight. However, I'm 6'3 and broad shouldered and weigh 15st 10lbs so not quite sure I could get down a stone or two without looking anorexic!!

Yep. I was until recently "obese" but certainly didn't look it. The GP was even a bit confused when she saw the measurement and compared it to how I looked, had to assure her it was right.

At my lightest, I was probably half a stone under the top level of normal and I was told by plenty of people I looked too thin. Yet I could have lost another 2 stone and still been in the normal range.

Maybe it is western perception partly as to what looks normal, as well as it being a flawed measure.

I'm definitely overweight now mind, no complaints about that label applying to my current physique sadly 😕
