I didn’t go but have been to a John Hendrie event before. He’s decent, and he’s a hero of mine but he’s probably not as funny / entertaining as others I’ve been to see.

His bit he does about the Bradford fire is very emotional though. An event that has understandably shaped him as a person.

Others I’ve seen in recent years include Dean Windass, Craig Hignett, Bryan Robson and most recently, Mark Crossley. All very good.

Crossley has Cloughy done to a tee. Never realised he gave him his debut in Professional football until the evening I attended.
