Andalucian Covid Passport

I guess it'll depend on the outcome of lifting some of the restrictions and the Regional approach - very few infections or cases in Malaga province at the moment.

I won't be in the first batch, but as I'm diabetic and over 60 (just !), I should be in the first of the "non high priority" group - vaccine roll out starts on 28th December I believe, and they're saying everybody i Spain will have been vaccinated by August. I'll wait to be called, but I would think Jan/Feb

It makes sense - the situation (cases / deaths) varies across the country - I see Valencia has closed its borders again because of rising cases

It's just those fckwits in Madrid playing politics with the national government that need sorting
 
Interesting, but does that mean sporting events and concerts will initially only be attended by vulnerable people and over time increasingly less vulnerable people. And those of us under 60 (just) won’t be able to go until July?

The Cañarían government introduced the need to have a negative test cert for entry, but central government didn’t agree. As the airport is run by central government the checks couldn’t be done there, it had to be by the hotel or owner of the accommodation people were going to 🙄 They’ve since kissed and made up and the checks are at the airport- except talking to people coming in with their certs they’re not checking.

since this spat there has been a huge military exercise around the coast and in the air here. Which I’m sure is pure coincidence and was pre-planned months ago 🤔
 
Here in Jaén we are still in nivel 4 - although I'm not exactly sure what that means!!!

I think the passport thing could be a good idea. Especially if it helps getting back to England to see family.

Nothing to stop you going back to England now mate ..... though you'll obviously have to self isolate for 7 / 10 days over there, and get a negative PRT test to come back

When I planned to go back the government said I had the option of 10 days quarantine or 5 with a negative test. But it turns out you can’t take the test until after the five days, then you send it off And obviously you have to isolate until you get the result. So in reality minimum 7 probably 8 days. So for £150 you can reduce 10 days to 8 🙄. Thanks Boris.

Exactly this. Which effectively makes going impossible.

There is a place in Barnard Castle that does the tests for £109 running at less than 48hr turn around probably quicker if you go there. I know it's not a big help but every little helps as they say.

Thanks, but I’ve resolved it by no going back to the UK and after yesterday that looks an even better decision 😁
