Another amusing Derby tweet....

The EFL have had their chance, they need to re-write the rules. But no club should be removed from playing if there is someone out there prepared to give it a go and bale them out. Let Ashley put his money in, and lets get back to football.
We talked about this at the footie today and FFP rules instead of the footie at times. It's a distraction what SG is doing. I'm sure he has his reasons, one day he might reveal all.
If only it was as simple as that.

I seriously can't believe you are having a go at Gibson for highlighting the pathetic inadequacy of FFP punishments and The EFL's appalling lack of action and consistency.

Financial/Book keeping fraud is just as much the responsibility of the EFL who monitor it
I can't say I agree with that, if chairmen try to cheat the system and don't give accurate information then the governance is always trying to play catch up, it's not the fault of the governing organisation that the fraudsters and conmen are getting better at it. Morris knew exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and why it was cheating.

Someone on the Derby message board posted a copy of their suicide note (failed attempt). A very quick mention and apology to his family, then a massive long rant saying it was all due to Steve Gibson that they no longer wanted to live.
Other posters then piled on saying SG literally had blood on his hands. It was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen.

even if they haven't paid all their debts? If they pay their debts then someone can take over. If that means they have to sell players to make good on their commitments so be it.....until Shinnie today they hadn't sold a single player. In fact they had taken on further wages since this mess all started. Until they sort their debts they are still living beyond their means and so far they've failed to provide a proper business plan to meet those debts.

Yes, I saw that, I'm sure the guy has other issues and it's not purely because his football club is a mess. But root cause is Mel Morris anyway

Threy spent yesterdays match shouting sex offender and peado at poor Billy Sharp yet again. Of all the people to do it to after he lost his child.

There fan base fast becoming the worst in the country

All I am trying to point out is that S.G with his pursuit of damages is bringing a lot of unwarranted misery on the supporters of Derby .F.C and it is reflecting badly on M.F.C and it's supporters. I've already called out the inadequacies of the EFL. This club was once lauded by visiting supporters for being well run and having SG as it's chairman. I wonder what they think now?

He is still a man of principles and fair play, and still one that cheats should not be allowed to prosper. So nothing has changed except that some other cheat is the target of his ire and they don't like it
