The York fixture ( 1pm) is the same day as the John Smith Cup meeting at the racecourse, the trains down could be rammed.
Will do the Hartlepool one
The traditional ones.
For some reason I read that as or you can get a taxi off Matt CrooksYork on the train could be a good day out, bit of a journey from the train station to the ground though. Taxi or is there buses to Monks Cross?
Crooks' fare is fineFor some reason I read that as or you can get a taxi off Matt Crooks
I have quite liked Hearts since I went to the Hearts v Gretna Scottish Cup Final on the Northern League coach from Billingham. I bought a Gretna scarf outside Hampden and spent most of the day with random friendly Hearts fans coming up and shaking my hand and wishing me well. Maybe they wouldn't have been so friendly if they'd lost the penalty shoot out.I'm not sure about that for either, I know there is an increasing number of Boro lads who have an allegiance to Rangers as well, and have their own Facebook page but generally there is a bit of bad blood between us and both old firm teams, when I came out of the Fulham Broadway for the playoff final, the area was saturated with lads with Scottish Accents who were looking for Boro fans
I like Hibs but every time I see something about us or them on social media there is bit of verbals going on between us about friendlies of old, England games and the recent friendly so I wouldn't expect the police to tolerate a rerun of a fixture, this soon. I would like Hearts, Aberdeen or Partick Thistle as a trip.up north.

Trying to gauge how likely it is that I'll get a ticket.
Yes, York tickets were bought from the York website.I thought (if memory serves), that for some of last season’s friendly matches, you had to purchase the tickets from the opponent’s own website. I seem to recall buying my car parking pass and match ticket from York City via a link from MFC’s website. I might have dreamed all that up mind, so don’t believe everything I have written above!!
Thanks mate, I thought that was the case.Yes, York tickets were bought from the York website.
